MONROE — SSM Health Monroe Hospital has been recognized again for exceptional patient experience. The hospital recently received the 2024 Outstanding Patient Experience Award from Healthgrades. 

“This is fabulous news. We are so pleased to have received this award for the sixth consecutive year,” said Jane Curran-Meuli, President of SSM Health Monroe Hospital and SSM Health Monroe Clinic Medical Group. “I have the privilege of seeing the incredible care our teams provide daily for the communities we serve. It’s wonderful to see their work being recognized on a national level.”

To determine recipients of these awards, Healthgrades evaluates hospitals on their performance on 10 patient experience measures. This includes categories such as recommendation to family and friends, communication with staff and discharge information. This achievement puts SSM Health Monroe Hospital in the top 15% of eligible U.S. hospitals. 

SSM Health Monroe Hospital is joined in receiving this award by several other SSM Health hospitals in Wisconsin, including St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison, St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo, St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac, and Waupun Memorial Hospital.
