MONROE — The holidays are an especially challenging time of year for those grieving the loss of a loved one. Learn how to cope during the holiday season with help from SSM Health at Home’s caring hospice team at Handling the Holidays. Event topics will include common holiday concerns, practical strategies for handling the holidays, and ways to remember a loved one.

Handling the Holidays is from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Nov. 2, at Monroe Engraving, at 1005 30th Street, Monroe.

This free group is open to those ages 18-plus who have experienced the death of someone special. Seating is limited and registration is requested.
