MONROE — The Monroe Arts Center’s Sounds of Summer Outdoor Concert Series continues with the fourth event on Wednesday, Aug. 9 with the Jodi Beach Trio.

Jodi Beach is more than a singer and pianist. She is a storyteller, a theme weaver, a scrapbook of our lives presented in song. Her performances invite the audience on a sentimental journey of melodies and lyrics that will leave them smiling and bring a tear to their eyes.

The Jodi Beach Trio is a group of seasoned musicians who can change the mood from romance ballads to upbeat swing with style and class.

Guests can bring a blanket and picnic basket and enjoy great music on Monroe Arts Center’s south terrace. Families can picnic, dance, and visit with friends while listening to a wide variety of music each second and fourth Wednesday evening from June through August at the Monroe Arts Center. All concerts begin at 6:30 p.m. and are free of charge.

Jose’s Authentic Mexican Food Truck will be on-site throughout each concert. Weather permitting and cash only, Jose’s Authentic Mexican Food Truck includes delicious authentic Mexican dishes.

The Monroe Arts Center will also have their own MAC Bar open throughout the evening. Visit

monroeartscenter.com or call 608-325-5700 for more information.
