MONROE — The Monroe Arts Center is proud to present the Sounds of Summer Outdoor Concert Series!  The fifth summer concert will take place on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 with Pop Folk Duo, Charlie Anne!  Husband and Wife duo Alex and Olivia Lentz met while studying at Viterbo University in La Crosse, WI.  Olivia received her BFA in Musical Theater and Stage Management, while Alex got his Bachelor’s degree in Music Education. Together they share a passion of performing and traveling around Wisconsin as the Pop Folk Duo, Charlie Anne, performing songs you know and love in the style of folk.  

Bring your blanket and picnic basket and enjoy great music on Monroe Arts Center’s south terrace. Families can picnic, dance, and visit with friends while listening to a wide variety of music each second and fourth Wednesday evening from June through August at the Monroe Arts Center.  All concerts begin at 6:30pm and are free of charge.  

Jose’s Authentic Mexican Food Truck will be onsite throughout each concert.  Weather permitting and cash only, Jose’s Authentic Mexican Food Truck includes delicious authentic Mexican dishes!  The Monroe Arts Center will also have their own MAC Bar open throughout the evening!  Please visit monroeartscenter.com or call 608-325-5700 for more information.
