MONROE — Behring Senior Center has received a grant from the Monroe Fund, component of the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin, Inc. to support their project entitled Veterans Story Project. The project will document the history and stories of local Veterans. This project will be completed in partnership with the Monroe School District. Veterans will be interviewed by local high school students.
This grant is made available from the Community Foundation’s Monroe Fund. The Monroe Fund is a resource for area nonprofit organizations whose programs and services are working for the betterment of our communities. Grants from the Monroe Fund have supported the arts, education, environment, health and human services and historic preservation.
