MONROE - A "Spell-a-Brate" Scrabble Tournament will be held at 6 p.m. Oct. 24 at Flanagan's Shenanigans, 1610 11th St., Monroe.
The event is a fundraiser with a silent auction benefiting the Literacy Council of Green County LLC.
Registration is at 6 p.m., with the games starting at 6:45 p.m. The cost is $20 per player, and seating is limited.
New this year will be a live auction for a plane ride over Green County and a Middle Eastern dinner for four.
