MADISON - Senator Dale Schultz will be in the Lafayette County communities of South Wayne, Gratiot and Shullsburg on Friday, Jan. 30. Dale welcomes community members to join him at stops during the day.
From 8:45 to 10 a.m., Schultz will be at Black Hawk High School, South Wayne, where he will talk to the Civics class of Mr. Petitjean and meet Principal Jerry Mortimer and Superintendent Charles McNulty.
From 10:30 to 11 a.m., Schultz will be at Metz Welding, 10953 Dunbarton Road, Gratiot. He will meet with Jeff Metz to thank him for the jobs Metz Welding is providing.
From 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Schultz will be available to meet with any community member to discuss any subject at Murfs Bar, 5890 Main St, Gratiot. Over lunch, he will meet with members of the Gratiot Village Board, including President Karlan Johnson, Trustee Tim Burke and Clerk-Treasurer Bob Hermanson.
From 1 to 2 p.m., Schultz will be at the Shullsburg Creamery, Shullsburg, where he will meet with CEO Scott Stocker and Pat Duffey, Human Resources.
From 2:30 to 3:15 p.m., Schultz will be at the McCoy Public Library for a listening session with Shullsburg community members. He will also be talking with librarian Carol Stoudt about the economic value of public libraries. The library is located at 190 Judgement Street.
