MONROE - The Courthaus Quilters held its quilt show on April 20 and 21 at the Monroe High School.
The Monroe High School German Exchange Travel club members, advisors and parents assisted the quilt club members, as well as held a food stand.
The "Bali Sea Star" raffle quilt was won by Sue Wild, Monticello. Other quilted items were won by Mary Ann Krebs, Monroe; Cindy Keller, Monroe; and Emily Zarling, Browntown.
Winners of raffle baskets were Debra Stoneback, Lynn Lokken, Diane Silbaugh, Angie Phillips, all of Monroe; Kriss Pernau, Milton; Ev Coleman, Juda; Laurel Schneider, Racine; Margie Bondele, Gratiot; Carol Koch, Monticello; Mary Francis, Brodhead; Julie Paquett, Cuba City; Karen Lee, Beloit; and Susan Hudson, Roscoe, Ill. More than 174 pounds of food was collected for the Green County Food Pantry. Proceed from the admission and raffle were divided between the high school German Exchange Travel club, Family Promise of Green County and the Pleasant View Foundation.
