MONROE - The "Purchase for Paws" garage and bake sale benefiting Green County Humane Society will be held April 28-30 at 1235 31st Ave., which is the location of the old Buri Electric building, next to Paw Prints and across from Monroe Beverage Mart.
The bake sale will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 28. The garage sale will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 28, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 29 and 8 a.m. to noon April 30.
Donated items may be dropped off beginning April 25. Items not accepted for donation are adult clothing or shoes (infant clothing is accepted), computers, printers, ceiling fans and outdated microwaves or television sets. Some large items may be accepted for donation, but not refrigerators, stoves, washers, dryers or sofas.
Donation drop-off times are from noon to 5 p.m. April 25, noon to 5 p.m. April 26 and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 27.
Bake sale items may be brought on April 27 or during the early morning on April 28.
Arrangements can be made for donations to be picked up from 3 to 7 p.m. April 27. Contact Geri at 608-325-9402 with any questions or to schedule a time for pick up.
