JANESVILLE - Blackhawk Technical College announced that 99 students were named to the President's Honors List for their academic performances during the 2016 spring semester. Students need to earn a 3.5 GPA while carrying nine or more credits to earn the designation. Area students earning the honor were:

Brodhead: Celine Martin, phlebotomy technician, and Mitchell Wilson, automotive technician

Monroe: Brooke Bauman, business management; Andie Jorgenson, welding; and Stephanie Wilson, IT-web designer tech

Monticello: Melissa Wahl, human resource generalist

New Glarus: Connor Peters, welding
