MONTICELLO — The Monroe Optimist Club will be sponsoring a fishing clinic from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 11. The outing is for boys and girls ages 5 to 13. Meet at the Monroe Public Library at 9 a.m. to catch the bus to Lake Montesian in Monticello. Fishing, lunch and prize raffles will be provided. The bus will return to Monroe by 1 p.m. 

Transportation, prizes and lunch will be provided. Those who attend must bring their own fishing equipment and bait. Adult Optimist Club members will supervise. For further information or questions call Tom Kundert at 608-325-9725.
