MONROE - The Monroe Optimist Club Bike Safety Rally will be held from 9:30 a.m. to noon April 29 at the Green County Family YMCA parking lot, for students in kindergarten through eighth grade.
Children can ride through the obstacle course to improve riding skills and should bring their own bikes and helmets.
The Monroe Police Department, Fire Department and Green County EMS will be on hand and the UW med flight helicopter will be arriving around 10 a.m.
Bike helmets will be available for sale and there will be a drawing for a bike at noon; the winner must be present to win.
