JUDA - The Oakley Union Methodist Church of rural Juda will be hosting its annual ice cream social from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Aug. 11.
The church is at the corner of Gerber and Union roads a few miles southeast of Juda.
Pies of all types will be served along with barbecue, hot dogs, baked beans, potato salad, fruit salad and beverages. The cost is $6 for adults and $4 for children 10 years and under.
New this year will be a pie auction starting at about 5 p.m.
All proceeds from the event will go to the church.
