MONROE - Trail enthusiasts are invited to experience a full phase of the moon with a leisurely pre-Halloween night group bicycle ride on the Badger and Jane Addams Trails to the Haunted Mill in Orangeville on Sat. Oct. 18. Lights are required, costumes optional.

The ride will start at 6 p.m. at Twining park in Monroe. Total round trip distance will be 20 miles. For a shorter ride cyclists can meet up at the Clarno Lumber parking lot, W5859 County P at 7 p.m. for a 10 mile round trip.

Cost for the event is $6 per person for admission to the Haunted Mill. Tickets are sold at the Orangeville Fire Department and proceeds will benefit the Orangeville Volunteer Fire Department. The haunted house contains high voltage effects, strobes, and high impact scares. Thrill seekers will embark from the fire station on a ghoulish adventure to the Haunted Mill, to experience seven levels of terror.

The event is sponsored by the Friends of the Badger Trail, the Jane Addams Trail Commission, and the Orangeville Fire Department. For further information call (608) 897-8300.
