MONTICELLO - The Monticello Lions and Green County Conservation League are sponsoring the Lake Montesian Fisheree on Sunday, Jan. 27. Fishing starts at 7 a.m., check in at the lake shelter house any time that morning, no entry fee. Fish until 3 p.m. Cash prizes for largest fish in various species. However, participants must purchase raffle tickets to be eligible for fish prizes. Raffle tickets will be available that day. Cash raffle prizes and numerous other prizes. Need not be present to win.
