MONROE - This month, 1,500 randomly selected households throughout the eight-county Madison Region will be asked to give their opinion on life in the region. The eight-county Madison Region includes: Columbia, Dane, Dodge, Jefferson, Green, Rock, Iowa, and Sauk counties.
The survey is being conducted by Thrive, a nonprofit organization created to grow the economy of Wisconsin's eight-county Madison Region in ways that preserve and enhance the quality of life, in conjunction with the University of Wisconsin Extension.
Survey recipients are being asked to comment on satisfaction with the quality of life both in their local communities (their town, village, or city) and throughout the region. In order to track progress on improving quality of life, Thrive needs to find out what residents currently think. Responses to the survey are critical to determining where we need to be devoting additional attention. Thrive feels it is critical to hear from the region's most important asset...our citizens!
Outcomes will be used to measure and track improvements in Quality of Life over the years to come in order to more effectively address opportunities. Input from the survey offers an opportunity to affect the thoughts of key decision makers in your region.
