MONROE - The Wisconsin Women's Business Initiative Corporation will offer a free introductory workshop for individuals interested in starting their own business.
People can learn how to make their business a reality and how to target the marketplace and calculate startup costs. Information also will be presented about helpful Web sites and professional resources.
The workshop will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15 at the Monroe Chamber of Commerce and Industry, 9th Street, Monroe. Participants can register by calling the Small Business Development Center at (608) 342-1038.
