Monroe Clinic reports that, for now, it has enough supplies and capacity to care for patients.

MONROE — As cold and flu season ramps up and continue to see increased cases of COVID-19 spreading throughout the community, Monroe Clinic is offering a dedicated Upper Respiratory Clinic.

This clinic treats both pediatric and adult patients who may be experiencing COVID-19 or upper respiratory symptoms. Dedicated providers and staff offer patients the option to receive safe and timely care through telehealth or in-person visits.

Patients with upper respiratory or COVID-19 concerns can call Monroe Clinic’s COVID-19 hotline to speak with a nurse. This hotline helps answer questions and connect patients with telehealth visits or in-person clinic appointments for those who need to be physically seen.

Upper Respiratory Clinic patients will enter their main campus at a separate entrance from the main clinic entrance. From there, they will be evaluated, diagnosed and provided a treatment plan. By offering a dedicated space for patients with upper respiratory concerns, Monroe Clinic providers can examine and treat them while maintaining physical distance from patients being seen for other routine care.

Monroe Clinic’s Upper Respiratory Clinic is open for appointments on their main campus from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. To make an appointment in the Upper Respiratory Clinic, or if experiencing a fever, cough or other respiratory symptoms, call the COVID-19 hotline at 608-324-1865 for the next steps. The COVID-19 hotline is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekends.

Please do not delay care. If experiencing respiratory distress or other severe symptoms, please call 9-1-1 or go to Monroe Clinic’s Emergency Department.
