MONROE - The Church of the of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints recently offered the gift of warmth to Monroe Clinic's youngest patients.

The church's senior citizen members made baby quilts and donated them to the Clinic for use in their Family Birth Center and Pediatric Services. Attached to each blanket was a tag that read, "Gift of Warm Love from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints."

"There were over a dozen quilts, and each was beautifully made," said Sue Fox, RN, medical/surgicalsupervisor. "They are sure to be a source of comfort for the little ones who will use them."
