MONROE - The Monroe American Legion Post 84 will celebrate its 89th birthday on Saturday, March 29, at the American Legion Post Home, 1625 12th Ave., Monroe.
All legionaires and their families are invited to attend the celebration.
A social hour will start at 5:30 p.m. and a potluck dinner to follow at 6:30.
Fifty-year members will be honored. Bring a dish to pass and your own table service. Beverages will be furnished.
