Monroe High School will host its fifth Senior Citizen Prom on May 6 from 5-8 p.m.

MONROE — Monroe High School is sponsoring its 5th Senior Citizen Prom on Saturday, May 6 from 5-8 p.m.

Senior Citizen prom began in 2016 and continued through 2019. Then, due to COVID-19, we were unable to hold the event. This year, the FFA and Key Clubs are excited to partner again to bring back this free community event.

Before great music from the Back40 Band, the Monroe High School vocal and instrumental jazz student musicians will entertain guests with swing and rock tunes. Attendees will then enjoy a delicious catered meal and homemade desserts.

Once again, there will be a photographer on site to take photos, and guests can enter a raffle to become the night’s King or Queen.

RSVPs are requested by April 28. RSVP to Susan Anderson at susananderson@monroe.k12.wi.us or call 608-328-7318.
