DARLINGTON — The topic of discussion at the Monday, Sept. 9 meeting of Lunch Bunch will be “MultiCultural Outreach Program.” The gathering will take place in the county board room of the Lafayette County Courthouse from noon to 1 p.m. Feel free to bring a lunch during this informal hour.
Shirley Barnes from MultiCultural Outreach Program will present for this session. Discussion will be about facts versus myths about immigrants; challenges and advantages of multiculturalism; and opportunities to become an ESL volunteer tutor. Questions from the public are welcome.
The session is free and open to the public. Lunch Bunch is sponsored in part by Lafayette County Home and Community Education (HCE), UW-Extension, and free- will donations.
