Optimists announce weekly meeting schedule for April, May

MONROE — The Monroe Morning Optimists meet every Thursday morning at 6:30 a.m. at Swiss Alps, 804 4th Ave West. 

The public is welcome. The following are a list of speakers for April and May:

●  April 7 — Bridgette Mouchon from UW Extension speaking on the Comprehensive Community Health Plan.

●  April 14 — Pat Weeden, Executive Director of the Kelch Aviation Museum in Brodhead

●  April 21 — Eric Justiniano, PE Instructor from Parkside Elementary School to present the “All Kids Bike” program.

●  April 28 — Fire Chief Bill Erb of the Monroe Fire Dept

●  May 5 — Amy Charles, Blackhawk Technical College Workforce Development & Monroe Campus Coordinator

●  May 12 — Joe Spair with Pelliteri Waste Systems

●  May 19 — Eric White with Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection (Monroe Branch)

●  May 26 — Emily Legel, Executive Director of Green County Development Corporation (GCDC)
