One Voice for Disability Rights Walk July 24

MONROE — The Arc of Green County invites all to join the One Voice for Disability Rights special event July 24. 

The event doubles as a celebration for the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act that was enacted 31 years prior on July 26. The Arc of Wisconsin and other chapters are holding similar local events. 

The Green County walk will take place at 10 a.m. on the Monroe High School track. Supporters are encouraged to walk, run or roll their way along to show support of disability rights. There is registration fee of $25 which includes a t-shirt and a runner’s bib. 

The Arc of Green County is partnered with The Arc of Wisconsin with The Arc Dane County, The Arc Eau Claire, Inc., The Arc Lincoln County, The Arc of Racine County, Inc and the Richland County Arc.
