FREEPORT — Northwest Illinois Rock Club hosts its annual Gem, Mineral, Fossil, Jewelry and Gift show in Freeport’s Eagles Club, 1200 W Galena Ave, Freeport. 

Vendors from the Midwest will show case an array of gorgeous minerals from all over the world. With intriguing fossils, glittery gem stones, unique jewelry and eye catching gift items, there is something for every taste. Adults and children can enjoy lapidary demonstrations, a fun-filled children’s game area and the ever popular geode opening booth.

The event is Nov. 12 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., then Sunday, Nov. 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
