MONROE — The Monroe Municipal pool will be holding a special event July 26 called Animals, Animals Everywhere. The event will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. Daily admission is still charged.

There will be free pony rides, a petting zoo, Kona Ice, plus food and games. The event is sponsored by First National Bank and Trust Company.
