DARLINGTON — The Lafayette County Historical Society will be hosting an acoustic music jam session in the Veterans’ Park in front of the Historical Museum on Main Street in Darlington on Sunday, August 7 from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. 

All instruments, voices, and listeners are welcome: Guitar, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, zither, dulcimer, harmonica, spoons, accordion or anything else. Acoustic is non-amplified. If an instrument requires electricity, it must be no louder than the unplugged instruments. 

Chairs, water, and lemonade are provided. In case of bad weather, the event will move to the lower level of the museum. For more information, call 608-482-2483.
