GCHS hosts fundraising breakfast at Monroe Moose

MONROE — On Sunday, May 1, from 8 a.m. to noon, the Green County Historical Society is hosting a delicious all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet. Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children 5-11.  Under age 5 are free. Tickets are available at the door.

Along with the breakfast, we will have on sale some historical items of local interest.

Fundraising is an important and necessary part of continuing our mission of “preserving, advancing and disseminating the knowledge of the history of Green County” alive.

Join and feel free to ask members any questions you might have about the historical society.  

On Friday, May 6, the Historical Museum is holding a garage sale along with the City-Wide Sales held in Monroe. Parking in rear and entering through the gate. Many miscellaneous and historical items are for sale.

Other upcoming events the Historical Society will be holding are a Heritage Fest on Saturday, May 14 with live demonstrations and special displays.
