News Brief with BKG

MONROE — The Green County Historical Society held their annual meeting at Lincoln Park on June 18, and elected Donna Kjendlie to another term as president, and said so long to Vice President, Gary Neuenschwander and Board member Sherry Anderegg. Both have been active with the society with managing the newsletter, maintaining the historical scrapbook, research and archival work.

Following at the monthly board meeting, two new officers were elected: Jeff Neises as vice-president and Lynn Lokken as secretary.

The monthly board meetings are open to the public and we urge anyone interested in learning more about the Historical Society to attend. The meetings are held on the third Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at the museum.
