MONROE - Two additional blood drives will be held in Monroe this month.
One will be from noon to 6 p.m. March 12 at the Monroe Fire Department, 601 W. 17th St. If registering online, use sponsor code: Green County EMS.
There also will be a blood drive from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. March 13 at the Monroe Clinic Hospital, 515 22nd St. If registering online, use sponsor code: MonroeClinicHospital.

Celebrate Pi Day with pie March 14
NEW GLARUS - New Glarus Public Library will be celebrating their annual "Pi Day" event from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. March 14. The event is based on the numerals for the date, 3-14, correlating to the numerical value of pi, 3.14, and is celebrated nationwide and beyond by eating pie.
Patrons are invited to bring in a pie and to enjoy a slice of pie from the varieties provided. There is no fee and it's open to the public.
