Margin Protection Program meetings to be held in April
MONROE - The Green County Farm Service Agency Office is hosting two informational meetings regarding the updated 2018 Margin Protection Program Coverage and new provisions at 1:30 and 7:30 p.m. April 16 at the Green County Justice Center in the multi-purpose rooms on the lower level.
Information will be presented that will help dairy farmers and milk producers understand their options and opportunities for the 2018 signup period that ends June 1.
Meeting attendees will learn about the 2018 MPP options available to them. These meetings are free and open to the public.
Donate while dining at 4-H fundraiser April 16 at Culver's
MONROE - The Next Generation 4-H club will have a fundraiser from 4 to 8 p.m. April 16 at Culver's in Monroe.
Ten percent of all sales will be donated to the club.
