MONROE - The Monroe Public Library will host a small group discussion on the topic "Food: What Might Be for Dinner?" at 4 and 6 p.m. Tuesday.
The discussions, which will be the same at both times, will focus on what residents want to see in the community, encouraging neighbors to talk together in a non-political, unbiased environment about a topic that affects everyone.
The event is free, and light food and beverages will be provided at 6 p.m. Sign up at the reference desk and pick up a booklet on the topic.
The discussions will be facilitated by a representative from the Interactivity Foundation, a nonprofit organization working to increase citizen engagement and participation through neutrally facilitated small group discussion of public policy issues. Learn more at www.interactivityfoundation.org.
