MONROE - Popular local performer, Jane Swiggum, will present two performances of Black Light Camp Gets Creative at 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, in the Monroe Public Library's meeting room. The show will take place in a darkened room under the safe purple glow of ultraviolet lights. Child care providers, grandparents and other caring adults are invited to enjoy the show with their children. Seating is limited and registration for either performance is requested by calling the library at 328-7010.

This unique show, suggested for children ages 3-12, is filled with puppets, dancing, and live action. For interested families, Swiggum will answer questions and share her black light performing secrets after the show.

For more information regarding summer programs for children and families, call the Youth Services Department of the library at 328-7010.
