Klarer presents his 'Carol' at the MAC

MONROE - Father Michael Klarer of St. Victor Parish, Monroe, will speak at noon on Wedn-esday, Nov. 11, in Wesley Hall at the Monroe Arts Center, located at 1315 11th St. This presentation is free and open to the public.

At this brown-bag lunch event, Klarer will talk about Charles Dickens, "A Christmas Carol," Victorian England, and his adaptation of "A Christmas Carol" for the stage.

Klarer's "A Christmas Carol" will be performed Dec. 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, and 20 at the Monroe High School Performing Arts Center and is presented by the Monroe Theatre Guild and the Monroe Arts Center.

John Baumann of Monroe will be playing the role of Scrooge.

Bring a lunch and MAC will provide a beverage.
