JANESVILLE - On Tuesday, June 24, Blackhawk Technical College will host an invitation-only summit meeting entitled Career Pathways: Planting the Seed. The purpose of the summit is to begin the dialogue between secondary, post secondary, and business and industry leaders to build seamless transitions for students as they traverse through the educational system.
Participants in the summit will learn about global and regional economic changes and their impact, the new Department of Public Instruction career-counseling model, and the Career Pathway models throughout the country and possible models for Rock and Green counties.
