MCCONNELL, Ill. - McConnell United Methodist Church will hold morning worship and a light breakfast at 7 a.m. Wednesday mornings in Fellowship Hall (the gymnasium) at the church, 211 N. Hulbert Road, McConnell. The event is a contemporary 30-minute service seated around tables where people may talk, eat and experience the grace of God together.
The event is open to people from all walks of life, any church affiliations or non-church attendees. For those who can't make it to church on Sunday, whose children's activities keep them busy all week or who struggle to fit in to a traditional worship experience, these services allow them to pray together with a family of faith.
