MONROE - Beginning this month, the Mobile Food Pantry of Green County will require families to present more formal identification in order to receive free food. The Mobile Food Pantry has initiated this policy to ensure that the food is distributed only to residents of Green County.
On Thursday, Dec. 18, low-income families coming to receive free food should present a photo ID (driver's license, passport, voter registration card, government agency ID) or two other forms of identification (utility bills, personal check, etc.) to verify residency.
