MONTICELLO - The Monticello Area Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Feb. 22 in the Zwingli United Church of Christ sanctuary, 416 E. Lake Ave.

Following a short meeting, Richard Horn will talk about his career with the U.S. Coast Guard during the 1950's. He will describe the vessels on which he served and the missions they performed, primarily on Lake Erie. This presentation is open to the public.
