MONROE - The Green County Land and Water Conservation Department will continue to accept hardwood tree orders until Dec. 31 for planting next spring. Seven varieties are being offered: red oak, white oak, bur oak, swamp white oak, black cherry, sugar maple, and butternut. The cost is $2 per tree, and need to be ordered in increments of 10.
