BROWNTOWN — The GFWC Blanchardville Woman’s Club (BWC) and GFWC Monroe Woman’s Club will be participating in a fundraising event to benefit the national nonprofit Canine Companions from 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26 at Hawk’s Mill Winery, W8170 Pilz Road, Browntown.
The Blanchardville and Monroe Woman’s Clubs will be co-hosting the fundraiser together with the national nonprofit Canine Companions. Hear from Canine Companions graduate, Aubrey, and Service Dog, Humphrey. Additionally, meet a Canine Companions volunteer puppy raiser and future service dog in training. This event will include a basket raffle, 50/50 raffle, “Service Dog” bingo, prizes, appetizers, and more.
Canine Companions provides expertly trained assistance dogs free of charge to children, adults and veterans with disabilities or professionals in the fields of health care, criminal justice, or an educational setting. The dogs are expertly trained and ongoing support is provided to ensure quality partnerships.
The public is invited to attend this event.
