Albertson Memorial Library, 200 N. Water St., Albany, is open from 1 to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. Weekly preschool storytime is 9:30 a.m. Tuesdays. The After School Book Club for fourth- through sixth-grade students meets from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Jan. 17 to discuss the book "Pictures of Hollis Woods" by Patricia Reilly Giff.
