MONROE - The University of Wisconsin-Extension Green County hired Abigail Fink as the 2013 4-H intern.
Fink attends the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, where she will be a junior majoring in agribusiness with an emphasis in communications and marketing. On campus, she is involved in many clubs, including Ag Business Club, National Agri-Marketing Association and Pioneer Dairy Club. As a 2011 Mount Horeb High School graduate, she was involved in the FFA program as well as a member of the Mounds View Mountaineers 4-H Club. Through these programs, she has spent nine years showing dairy cattle at many different shows and participated in other projects and events such as: Judging competitions, sewing projects, conventions and 4-H camp.
During the summer, Fink will be involved with assisting various UW-Extension programs and events including with the Dairy Day Cattle Show and working with the Junior Leaders to help organize the Dairy Bar at the fair.
