BELLEVILLE - Five area students whose parents work for Federal Industries of Belleville were awarded Federal Industries 2017 Scholarships.
They are:
Devon Boll, son of employee Gary Boll, New Glarus High School, going to Iowa State at Ames, $4,000.
Devin Erickson, son of employee Darin Erickson, Pecatonica High School, going to Iowa State at Ames, $2,500.
Kole Kent, son of employee Shawn Erickson, Pecatonica High School, going to University of Wisconsin-Platteville, $1,500.
Mia Wahl, daughter of employee Kristine Wahl, Monroe High School, going to Southwest Wisconsin Technical College in Fennimore, $1,500.
Gunnyr Disch, son of employee Beth Disch, Pecatonica High School, going to Madison Media Institute, $500.
These students were selected for a scholarship based on school activities and work experience, SAT, ACT or other aptitude test scores, a current transcript of grades and a student essay.
