MONROE - Community Education classes continue to be offered throughout the semester at Blackhawk Technical College's Monroe Campus.
Classes starting soon include:
Internet Marketing for Small Business Workshop will provide basic information on Web marketing, promotion and its valuable and cost effectiveness for small businesses. The one-time workshop is scheduled for 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27.
E-Mail Basics teaches people about sending and receiving messages, reply and forward, how to create an address book and what incoming messages to avoid. This four session class meets from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays starting Tuesday, Oct. 28.
Design A Basic Web site will provide design basics to create a well-designed but simple web page including text, images, links, and other basic layout elements. The class is scheduled to meet from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 28 and meet for four sessions.
Other classes offered in Monroe in November include Photoshop Basics, Keep on Drawing, Small Business Marketing and Promotion, Holiday Newsletter, Excel/Intermediate, Windows Basics, Responsible Beverage Service and Herbal Spa Products.
