MONROE - Open enrollment for the Green County 4-H Junior Leaders Association, the youth-run organization for 4-H members in sixth through 13th grade, is now available for students who are interested in becoming a junior leader. Students have to be enrolled in 4-H for the current year.

Meetings are held the first Monday of the month. Youth assist in different junior leader activities and develop leadership skills.

Becoming a junior leader allows youth to help younger members to have some of the same opportunities they have had through 4-H club work. Junior leaders become more knowledgeable of the whole 4-H program and can take on leadership roles in their community.

For more information on the Junior Leaders Association or how to join 4-H, contact the University of Wisconsin-Extension Office in Monroe at 608-328-9440.
