DARLINGTON — A total of 49 cast and crew members of Darlington High School’s spring play Much Ado About Nothing are ready to perform this weekend.
This famous William Shakespeare comedy has been adapted for a modern-day audience but has retained the original characters, conflicts, and themes. A few characters have been added like a troop of boy and girl scouts who have been maintaining the peace until the troops come home from fighting in WWII.
Ironically, it is this group of young people who help to uncover the truth and indeed prove that much ado has been made about nothing. Filled with both comedy and drama, this show is sure to please audiences of all ages.
Performances are March 22-23 at 7:30 p.m. and March 24 at 1:30 p.m. in the Leona Havens Theatre at Darlington High School.
Tickets may be purchased from On the Stage or at the door. Patrons can use the QR codes on the promotional materials or this website: https://our.show/kqameqvutj.
