DARLINGTON - Losses through death, as well as other losses in life, can be easier to bear when experiences are shared with others. Lafayette County Hospice offers a grief support group which is open to the public and free of charge. Each session consists of a short presentation about an aspect of the grief experience by the facilitators, followed by time for interaction by participants. Light refreshments are provided.

The grief support group meets from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Wednesdays, April 30 through June 4, at the Redbird Lounge at the Darlington United Methodist Church. The church is across Catherine Street from the Lafayette County Courthouse. Entrance for the Redbird Lounge is from Washington Street. Pre-registration is not necessary. More information is available by calling Kristie Lueck, RN, of Lafayette County Hospice, at 776-4895
