Oakley church soup day, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Oakley church, Juda. Homemade soups and chilis, hot dogs, pickles, cheese sandwiches, desserts and beverages for adults $5, and children, $3.50, children 5 and under free advance tickets save fifty cents. There are crafts and baked goods for sale.

Green County Genealogical Society, meeting and program, 10 a.m., Russ Horton speaks on, Genealogical Resources at Veterans Museum, at Monroe Public Library.

Monroe Theatre Guild art class, Art - Big and Small, 9 to 11 a.m. Cost is $16 for MTG members, $18 for Non-Members. Scholarships are available.

Bunco Bash, Noon to 4 p.m., Sunday, March 6, St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Belleville, Sandwiches and snacks noon, Bunco, 12:30 p.m., $2 admission. New games every 30 minutes, raffle drawing at 4 p.m.

Fasnacht, the Swiss version of Mardi Gras, from 2 to 6 p.m., kicks-off Turner Hall's 2011 Swiss Heritage Series with a masquerade/costume dance in the Grand Hall.

The Wisconsin Singers, 2 p.m., the Monroe High School Performing Arts Center. The MHS Acappella Choir will open for the Singers. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for seniors/students. Tickets may be purchased at the door, at Ruf's, or from any of the school offices.
