Dedication ceremony for the State Historical Marker commemorating Pecatonica Battlefield, hosted by the Friends of Woodford Park, Black Hawk Memorial Park, 2995 County Road Y, Woodford. Food will be served beginning at 11 a.m., ceremony beginning at 1:30 p.m.

Monroe Legion Baseball Father's Day breakfast buffet, 8 to 11 a.m., Monroe American Legion, 1627 12th Ave., Monroe. Menu: Pancakes, French toast, ham, sausage, eggs, fruit, hash browns, sweets and beverages. Price: $6 for adults, $4 children ages 3 to 10, and free for children under 3. Proceeds benefit Monroe Baseball.
