MONROE — Becker’s Hospital Review once again named Monroe Clinic among its 100 Great Community Hospitals. 

A nationwide review of community hospitals based on exceptional performance in the area of clinical quality, operational excellence and economic impact in communities served determines the recipients of this accolade. 

Hospitals considered for this list have 550 or fewer beds and are in both suburban and rural areas across the nation. Experts evaluate hospitals throughout the nation based on original research or national rankings from review boards such as IBM Watson Health 100 Top Hospitals, iVantage Health Analytics and The Chartis Center for Rural Health’s Top 100 Rural & Community Hospitals, CareChex ratings, Leapfrog Group grades, Healthgrades awards and CMS stars. 

Only hospitals that are continuously improving while consistently providing quality care are included in the prestigious list of 100.
